Isaac Meyers was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on December 22, 1979. He was 22 inches long and 10 pounds. A big baby and always kicking her throughout her pregnancy said Isaac’s mother, Kathleen. Isaac was always trying to create some kind of masterpiece either drawing, painting, hair and beauty. Isaac’s mom recalls seeing Isaac playing with Barbie’s. He loved to style them and play with there hair,says Kathleen. Isaac was always drawing beautiful pictures of women with vivid colors and lots of time invested on each drawing. Every teacher would always say how gifted and talented Isaac was in the Arts and English throughout his school years. Isaac was always a little different then the rest of the kids. He loves to paint and draw for hours while other kids where playing outside and riding their bikes. Isaac says that he always wanted to be the best at whatever he did even at an early age. Perfection started at a young age and just kept blossoming for this man. Who would think the quiet, polite, well-mannered kid from the suburbs would be one of Hollywood’s most sought after Makeup Artist’s? At the age of 16 Isaac started expanding his creativity and wanted to start airbrushing on canvas and t-shirts. He got enrolled in some classes and started to pursue that next challenge. Upon completion of that he took a break from airbrushing and started using a lot pastels, watercolors and from there it lead to Native American pottery. I was just mixing mediums trying everything and exploring as many sides to art as possible. At the age of 18 Isaac got into graffiti. Yes. I said graffiti. I grew watching TV and seeing these big huge pieces of art on trains and buildings and I was always fascinated with them, said Isaac. He worked and practiced doing that for 3 years and then realized this is not what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. At the age of 21 Isaac wanted a change of life so he relocated to Tempe, Arizona in august 2001. He lived there for 4 ½ years where he found his passion for makeup. If you look back at this young mans history makeup is written allover him Isaac says, that Arizona was his growing place where he found himself and what he was truly about. Isaac worked for MAC cosmetics and did TV spoke modeling for a national skincare company, Neo Strata. He also worked for Sephora, Macys and the Arizona opera company. Isaac also worked with the Arizona fashion foundation in many different fashion shows and photo shoots. He has had a few different articles written on him and his makeup talent. Isaac kept on wanting to do more with makeup and all of his talent His dreams were endless and wanted to compete to be the best makeup artist in the industry. Isaac says, I have always been very competitive and am always looking for my next challenge. All I could do is talk about LA and how I wanted to move here and utilize this town and see were it takes me. Any move isn’t easy and it took Isaac 3 years of saying he was going LA for makeup.

Finally in October 2005 Isaac had reached a point was he knew it was time for him to make his move to LA. Isaac transferred his job at MAC cosmetics to the California market and started freelancing throughout all of the stores in the Hollywood area. He was very excited and knew this was were he was going to make it big and prove to everyone that he was number one and he wasn’t going to give up until it was achieved. During the first couple months he encountered a couple obstacles that set him back but what amazing artist doesn’t. Isaac said that he stayed there and started telling himself all the time to be number one and be the best makeup artist and to have the best body. Isaac still chants those words of inspiration. I have found that repetitious thinking and chanting words of encouragement help me every single time I think of my passion. Says. Isaac. Isaac is freelancing throughout the LA area and has been working on films and music videos and editorial. My dream is to be the next Kevyn Aucoin/Michael Westmore, (with a little of David Mack and Ashley Wood influences). I feel like no one has stepped up and went for that top spot until me. I know that my styles and creativity have already set me apart from everyone else in the fashion and film industry, says Isaac. I really enjoy life. I have an insatiable curiosity and always are fiddling or studying things somehow. I refuse to settle long-term for a boring job or doing something just because it's expected of me. Life should be "balanced" with plenty of time for fun, spontaneity, and relaxation! I try to avoid scheduling every minute of my day and instead prefer a more informal and "go with the flow" approach. Attracting friends has never been a problem because of my natural charisma and wit. I believe in living life in the here and now, saying what I feel, and shaking things up if life gets boring.
